DARKNESS

Give me your hand and pull me out,

Before this darkness swallows me down.

It's very deep and dark here,

I can't breathe because of fear.

I am floating in air, like there's no gravity,

And it can keep me like this for eternity.

There's not even a single ray of light,

No sun of hope that can shine bright.

My body is curled up like a cotton ball,

Can't feel anything, just small.

I am lifeless, but still can breathe,

Will you help me and make me release?

Because I just need a hand to pull me out,

STRANGERS

We were strangers, when I first met you,

You didn't even give a look, and I was already in to you.

Some feelings came to me, I don't know why,

And they were growing every minute passing by.

I realized you were all alone, 

So was I, ready to get along.

That was the first time I asked for your name,

You chuckled cutely which drew me insane.

A beautiful girl with a beautiful name,

Like I was waiting from ages for the same.

We became friends, and were with each other without any rest,

Now love makes our heart melt.

I hope we can stay beside each other till eternity,

And be in love whole heartedly.

The way you look at me, makes it clear,

But it's me, who's holding back. 

I have never loved someone before, 

Though I have never slept alone. 

You are soo innocent, and I am scared, 

What if I ruin it, I am afraid. 

You are like a shinning star in the sky, 

Beautiful and bright in the night light. 

I am like a cold dessert, 

Who can even turn you in to dust.

It's better you stay away from me, protected, that's must. 

So, let the things go the way they are,

HER

The way you look at me, makes me flutter, 

The way you talk to me, makes me stutter. 

I gulp everytime I see you walk towards me, 

I lower my eyes whenever you are close to me. 

My face becomes hot by the sudden rush of blood in my body, 

When you shake my hand while touching it softly. 

You smile at me and make me blush, 

Is this the feeling, what you call Love? 

When you speak, my lips curve up making me smile, 

When you wave a goodbye, that's when I think of meeting you next time. 

When you walk with me till my home, I feel cared, 

I feel you love me too,  when you stare. 

We talk for hours over phone at night, 

Do you really miss me at that time? 

I even see you in my dreams, 

You haven't left a single place for me to relieve. 

All these feelings give me butterflies in my tummy, 

Are you planning to go like this through out our journey? 

Let's just take a step further, 

I am sure, we'll do great together.

LIFE

Someone will come, someone will leave, 

Someone will stay, that's how it's supposed to be. 

Sometimes you cry, sometimes you smile, 

Sometimes you don't know, you have to walk miles. 

Sometimes it's up, sometimes it's down, 

Sometimes it's rocky, we better not fall down. 

Sometimes we fall, sometimes we rise, 

Sometimes we just stay there, trying to process what's mine. 

Sometimes we are alone, sometimes there are many, 

Sometimes we feel closer with the strangers passing by. 

Sometimes bitter, sometimes sweet, 

Sometimes you get to know a new flavor of life's treat. 

Sometimes happy, sometimes sad, 

Sometimes you don't know and break down in the process. 

But it's life, this is how it's supposed to be, 

If not so, then let me know freely.

वादा

 उस चाँद का दीदार करते है,

हाँ, हम तुमसे आज भी प्यार करते हैं| 

पर ना कहना चलने को साथ तू,

अब हम साथ किसी और के चलते हैं| 

जो तुने किया, हम वो कर नहीं पाएँगे,

दिल उसका तोड़ नहीं पाएँगे| 

प्यार न सही, मगर साथ उसका देकर,

हम अपना वादा जरूर निभाएँगे|

कैसे हो तुम

 बात करने का मन तो करता है तुमसे,

लेकिन हिम्मत नहीं होती | 

तुम पूछोगे कि, "कैसे हो तुम"?

हर दर्द की सुबह नहीं होती | 

तुम्हारे इस सवाल से,

हमारे अंदर तूफ़ान आ जाता है,

क्या कहे, क्या ना कहे,

दिल कुछ समझ नहीं पाता है | 

तुम्हे अपना हाल समझाए कैसे,

एक बार ये ख्याल आता है | 

"हम ठीक है", कह कर 

हमारे होंठो से मुस्कुराहट का,

साया भी चला जाता है | 

ये सवाल हम तुमसे, 

पूछने से भी डरते है,

ना जाने क्या - क्या कहोगे तुम,

इस ख्याल से ही सहम जाते है | 

पर फिर तुम्हारे चेहरे से भी,

खुशी का नाम चला जाता है,

"हम ठीक है", कह कर,

तुम्हारा धयान कही और चला जाता है | 

इस सवाल को छोड़कर,

फिर हम आगे बढ़ जाते है,

तूफ़ान को रहने के लिए,

घर हम ही दे जाते है |

क्या रख ?

 

ऊँची है उड़ान तेरी, आपने हौसलो को बुलंद रख | 

होगी एक दिन ये दुनियाँ कदमो में तेरे, खुद पर यकी रख | 

राहे होंगी नहीं आसान, पर अपने कदमो को मजबूत रख | 

मिलेगी जन्नते भी तुझे, उस खुदा पर एतबार रख | 

जमाना कहे चाहे कुछ भी तुझसे, बस अपनों पर भरोसा रख | 

जो दिल मासूम है तेरा, उस दिल में सिर्फ मोहब्बत रख | 

किसने कहा आसमान को अपनी सीमा बना, अपनी सोच को सीमाहीन रख | 

छूना है अगर उस चाँद को, तो पंख अपने फैला कर रख | 

पूरी कायनात भी होगी तेरी, दिल में अपने तव्वजो रख | 

याद रखेगा ये ज़माना भी तुझे, अपने नाम का परचम लहराने को तैयार रख |

द्रौपदी

 यज्ञ से जन्मी, थी यज्ञसैनी मैं ,

पिता को चाहत थी पुत्र की ,

उस ईनाम के साथ खैरात में थी आई मैं | 

द्रुपद के घर थी जन्मी, द्रौपदी कहलाई मैं ,

पांडवो से विवाह किया, वेहशिया भी कहाई मैं | 

मित्रता मिली कृष्ण की, 

जिसने अर्जुन के दिखाए ख्वाब मुझे, 

कर्ण को भी ठुकरा दिया कहने पर जिसके मैंने | 

कुंती ने जबान दे दि , कहा बाँट लो मुझे ,

धर्म कि रक्षा के लिए चढ़ा दिया बलि मुझे | 

मेरा मुझ पर ही हक ना रहा, पति ने हक जताया था ,

जुए में दाँव पर लगा कर, मेरा गौरव मिट्टी में मिलाया था | 

बालों से घसिटी गई , हाँथ भी उठाया था ,

दुष्ट दुशासन से फिर वही हाँथ मेरे वस्त्र की ओर बढ़ाया था | 

अपना आँचल फाड़ कर कृष्ण के जखम पर लगाया था ,

उसी आँचल से फिर कृष्णा ने मेरा चीर बढ़ाया था | 

चींखी, चिलाई, इंसाफ के लिए गुहार लगाई ,

मगर पुरुषों की भरी सभा ने मुझ पर ही थी ऊँगली उठाई | 

पाँच पांडवो से सम्बंध रखने वाली स्त्री कहलाई ,

द्रौपदी, पांचाली, साम्रगी होकर भी मैं सिर्फ वेहशिया ही कहाई | 

पवित्र होकर भी अपवित्र समझी गई मैं ,

लालच पुरुषों का था, मगर तवाईफ़ समझी गई मैं 

क्रोध का ज्वाला भड़क उठा, था टुटा सबर मेरा ,

गांधारी ने जो न रोका होता, भरी सभा को श्राप मेरा के देता स्वाहा | 

खैरात में आऊ ,

द्रौपदी कहलाऊ ,

पांचाली बन जाऊ ,

पांडवों से विवाह रचाऊ ,

वेहशिया कहाऊ ,

दासी बन जाऊ ,

बेइज़्जत हो जाऊ ,

इज़्जत गवाऊ ,

चीर हरण सह जाऊ ,

सबर का घूँट पी जाऊ ,

और धर्म भी मैं ही बचाऊ | 

और आज भी कुछ लोग कहते है, महाभारत का युद्ध द्रौपदी ने कराया था ,

मैं तो सिर्फ जरिया थी, धर्म का डंका तो कृष्णा ने बजाया था | 

दुर्योधन का लालच था, युधिष्ठिर धर्मराज कहलाया था ,

कोरवो और पांडवों के बीच युद्ध का मोहरा मुझे कृष्णा ने बनाया था | 

मित्र ने ही मित्र का जीवन दाँव पर लगा दिया ,

कृष्णा ने मेरा बलिदान देकर धर्म स्थापित करा लिया | 

गीता का ज्ञान बाँट दिया युद्ध के मैदान में ,

धर्म भी सीखा दिया कौरवो के विध्वंस से | 

पर आज मेरा अस्तित्व क्या है ,

जो है वो कृष्णा है ,

गीता का ज्ञान अजर है ,

पर मेरा योगदान भी अमर है ,

आखिर द्रौपदी हूँ मैं ,

मुझ में ही महाभारत हैं |
